Belgian reimbursement is confusing when you did not grow up with it. Here is what a session costs, what comes back, and how it works for EU officials and internationally insured patients.
First assessment: 130 € (augmented session with instrumented measurement, 30–45 min). Follow-up sessions: 65 € (20–30 min). With a medical prescription, Belgian mutuelles reimburse part of each session: 19,05 € per standard session at a non-contracted practice (25 % reduction since May 2025). Patients with preferential status (BIM) pay the official rate of 31,64 € and are reimbursed 29,14 €. EU institution staff (JSIS/RCAM) and privately insured patients are reimbursed by their own scheme on invoice.
